LEGIS-PALOP

The Legal Database of the Portuguese Speaking African Countries (PALOP) was developed within the Project for the Support of the Development of the PALOP´s Legal Systems, and under the Regional Indicative Programme PALOP II, financed by the 9th European Development Fund (EDF) and the Portuguese Agency for Cooperation (IPAD). It is an ambitious project providing a common platform for sharing knowledge and legal information between the PALOP and those willing to know these legal systems.

Under the coordination of the PALOP’s Ministers of Justice, the database is now a reality in constant evolution and has become a milestone of lusophone citizenship and support for civic and economic development, actively contributing to the consolidation of a more just society and a more solid position of the PALOP in the international arena.
